**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

As a key member of the People & Performance (P&P) Senior Leadership Team the role contributes to the development of the People and Performance Strategy, working collaboratively with the Director P&P and other key stakeholders across AT and P&P to create an environment where our people and teams are empowered to make AT a great place to work and serve Auckland.

Reporting to the Director of People & Performance (P&P) the Head of Business Partnering will lead the deployment of the people strategy through their leadership of the Business Partnering Team, this includes Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Operations & Coordination; our core operational teams providing strategic and day-to-day operational guidance and support to all areas of the organisation.

As a seasoned professional, you will bring significant experience in leading a multidisciplinary People & Performance function within large scale and complex organisations.

You will have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and build effective and high performing teams, leading by influence through expertise, passion, care and shared values.

Politically savvy and strategic in your approach you will be a customer centric problem solver and influencer that can garner the commitment of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation within a changing and evolving environment. You will bring specific functional knowledge and leadership of people strategy and the delivery of quality support to a varied and complex organisation all with unique needs and requirements.
