**About the company**:
Our client is currently seeking a metro driver for their Auckland region.

They look for Drivers who are passionate about safety, results focused and have a strong work ethic. Mon to Fri & some Sat, 7am - 5pm approx.

You will be joining a medium size company that value their staff and people stay for the long term.

**In this role you will**:

- Most days will start around 6am - 7am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 - 60 hours per week including some Saturday work which.
- You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before
- They provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.
- All new starts go through a 10-day training program before they let you lose by yourself.

**This role is a great fit for you if you**:

- Minimum Class 5 license (essential) with previous swing lift driving experience
- You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite.
- You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all our clients sites)
- Some of their trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks.
