Our client, a leading steel fabrication company is seeking a reliable Class 5 driver to run deliveries and movement of products utilising their flat deck-semi truck and trailer As a family-owned business, they offer a friendly and dynamic work environment where every load presents new challenges. **Role description**:
The role operates a Class 5 flat deck-semi truck, as a key member of their logistics team, the driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to different locations, ensuring timely deliveries while prioritizing safety and adherence to company policies.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Safely operating the Class 5 truck and trailer for transportation.
- Reversing trailers into tight spaces with care and precision.
- Adhering to safe work practices and ensuring the security of the cargo.
- Managing workload efficiently and meeting delivery deadlines.
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- Hold a clean Class 5 driver's license for truck and trailer.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Familiarity with Auckland roads and good knowledge of the area.
- Able to drive smaller trucks when required and perform basic truck maintenance.
- Previous experience in carting structural steel is advantageous.
- A team player with a can-do attitude, initiative, and adaptability.
