This is an opportunity for you to contribute to the delivery of high quality service whilst receiving the full support from the highly experienced clinical staff.

**To be considered for the position, you will need to**:

- Have completed NZQA Level 4 certificate in Mental Health Support Work or be a 2nd or 3rd year NZ student nurse who has completed a mental health clinical placement (overseas qualification is not accepted)
- Have prior experience within a mental health setting
- Have a current CPR certificate and SPEC training including SPINS/PSCS or similar
- Able to demonstrate excellent people skills and communication skills including the ability to relate to people of differing age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Be able to develop positive working relationships with patients and treat them respectfully
- Be realiable and able to complete at least two shifts per month

**This is a casual position working on 'as and when' required basis with no guaranteed hours**
