**BAKER - FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION**

We are seeking a Baker for our growing Bakery Department, in the Johnsonville area of the Wellington region. The position is full time and permanent, working 40 hours per week. Some Supermarket experience will be an advantage.

Your rostered days of work will be Tuesday - Saturday (4.00 am - 12.30 pm), however, these may differ slightly during your first month with training and familiarization around the department. The rostered hours may also change, from time to time, to cover annual leave.

We are looking for a qualified baker whose strength is in dough production and bread baking. Any other strength, such as pastry making and/or cake baking, will be an advantage. Pride in your skill and presentation of your product is essential.

You will be responsible for making the various types of bread dough we use, on a daily basis, as well as baking off all the products, including bread, buns and rolls, scones, and some pastries. You will report to the Bakery Manager. A full job description is attached to this advertisement.

Cleanliness, tidiness, and a sound understanding of Food Safety, and Health and Safety, are also an advantage. Some of the other duties are, but not limited to, cleaning the department, ensuring you have sufficient stock levels, and stocktaking from time to time.

In store, the position is all about aiming to please the customer with high quality product and service.

Please include your relevant certificate of qualification, which should be Level 4, or higher. The successful applicant must be a NZ citizen, or have residency.

Your pay rate will be between $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience.
