We are currently seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Manager (Department Manager) to join our experienced and passionate Farmers Ashburton management team.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong people skills
  • Experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store)
  • Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvement
  • Exceptional customer focus
  • Excellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales results

Your day to day duties in this role will include:

  • Driving department sales and taking full ownership for the teams sales performance
  • Managing, coaching, developing and motivating your team to exceed sales budgets
  • Liaising with VM to ensure all visual elements (banners, windows, hot spots) are in place, on time before store opening
  • Driving a customer service culture across departments
  • Implementing & communicating promotional plans for upcoming events

The is a permanent Full Time position and will involve weekend work and flexibility for early starts as part of the management roster.
