This is an opportunity to put your skills to the test and become an integral member of our Trade team. We are looking for someone to take ownership of an established trade account portfolio and to also be involved in the further development of our Trade business, consistently delivering exceptional customer service, and truly understanding our customers and our customers’ businesses.

**This role requires**:
Sound building industry knowledge.
- Exceptional customer focus.
- A proven sales and relationship management track record within the building industry.
- An eye for emerging markets and you will understand the value of price and margin in building a profitable trade business.
- Highly self motivated and are comfortable managing call cycles.
- Building or trade industry knowledge is advantageous.

**Reporting directly to the GM Trade your core focus will be on**:
Develop customer accounts to grow Mitre 10 Mega Te Awamutu's share in the market**.**
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure we provide complete solutions and packages for our customers.
- Increase sales conversions by implementing regular call cycles, visiting building sites and identifying growth opportunities.
