An exciting opportunity exists for a** Merchandise Representative** working within the Consumer Division of Dicker Data New Zealand.

The primary role of the **Merchandise Representative** is to visit stores in your territory and ensure stores have products merchandised effectively to comply with Vendor requirements and planogram. You are a great communicator who can explain and train on key selling points of Consumer IT products. Categories of focus include Apple, Smart Home, Security, and Accessories.

The Consumer Sales Manager will also assist you in day-to-day account management functions within some established accounts. You will liaise with Consumer Account Managers, the Dicker Data accounts team, warehouse teams, and retailers to ensure all processes are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

**General Responsibilities**
- Regular store visits within sales territory with defined call plan and outcomes
- Successfully train store representatives to ensure that key vendor requirements are covered
- Complete regular joint store visits with Vendors and maintain Vendor planograms in-store
- Attendance of Vendor training sessions and sales meetings as required
- Promote and manage sales campaigns in all retail partners
- Effectively communicate competitive information from the shop floor back to key internal contacts

**Key Metrics**
- Sales exceed target projections
- Store and internal stakeholder feedback on performance, frequency, and value of store visits

**What you need to succeed in this role**:

- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
- Initiative and resourcefulness
- Your own reliable transport with a Full New Zealand driver's license
