**Wellmart Retail in Hamilton is a retail store providing quality groceriesfor the local community. We are looking for more full-time Checkout Operators to join us, mainly responsible for operating cash registers and receiving payments for goods purchased by customers.**

**This is a full-timepermanentposition. You will work 30-40 hours per week on the roster (minimum 30 hours guarantee), with an hourly rate of $22.00.**

**We are open seven days a week, 8.30 am-7.00 pm. Please know that you may need to work on weekends and public holidays.**

**There is no requirement for work experience or quali we provide basic training when you start the job. However, skill/experience/knowledge in checkout operation will be an advantage.**

**Key duties will include**:
**scanning, weighing, and recording prices of goods**

**receiving and processing payments for goods and services by cash, credit and debit cards and other payment types**

**issuing sales dockets and giving change**

**maintaining supplies of change, wrapping and other materials used at checkout**

**any other duties that the owner may assign.**

**To be successful, you must have the following**:
**passion for providing excellent customer service**

**be able to multi-task and have good communication skills, honesty, and an excellent work ethic**

**be mature, organised, detail-minded, self-motivated**

**be highly motivated, friendly, and outgoing with a great team attitude**

**Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
