Apprentice Maintenance Technician OneFortyOne Kaituna Sawmill

We are currently recruiting an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join our team. Working in a well-equipped up to date workshop, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills, while you learn and acquire your trade qualification. Working with qualified technicians you will learn to perform a variety of tasks including, maintenance of the plant, attending to breakdowns, carrying out preventative maintenance, scoping jobs, completing root cause analysis, machining, and fabrication, and working to ensure optimum plant uptime.

This is a full-time permanent role for 46.5 hours per week, working a combination of morning shifts and afternoon shifts Monday to Fridays at a rate of $24.65 per hour plus tool allowance. You will also participate in the monthly profit share scheme.

**About you**

To make the cut, you will need to have a minimum NCEA level 2, a process and engineering aptitude, high attention to detail, time management skills, a willingness to learn and develop skills, be a team player and demonstrate your commitment to Health and Safety.
