Lab Technician and Administrator

This exciting opportunity is a dual role of an administrator and a lab technician in Christchurch with an immediate start.

**About the Role**
You'll provide admin support for your business unit, helping support quality assurance and manufacturing operations. This will involve preparing documents on policies and audits, reconciling purchase orders, assisting with processing time sheets, and other relevant admin tasks.

For the lab tech side of your new role, you'll conduct in-house product sampling and testing of raw ingredients and finished products related to food, health, and nutrition (functional and analytical methods). You'll also manage samples and internal and external lab analysis, and ensure good laboratory housekeeping.

This is a full-time position with a 4-day work week Tuesday to Friday, 5 am to 5 pm.
- Use NIR spectrometer for product testing
- Manage the internal lab operations
- Assist with various administrative tasks

**About You**
Ideally, you have a background in a laboratory, and the ability to work at pace in what can sometimes be a high-pressure environment.

You take pride in your work and the accomplishments you achieve. You're self-disciplined with a proven ability to follow set procedures and take the initiative when necessary.

You have good analytical/technical skills and are fluent in English.
- Experience in a laboratory environment is beneficial
- Competent with using various computer systems
- Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to this role
