**About the role**
As a Structural Engineer in our residential team, you will work on a growing range of projects across New Zealand; our projects range from architecturally designed bespoke homes to structural alterations. You will be responsible for project administration and management, the development of seismic design and analysis of buildings, actively contribute to the development and implementation of overall company strategies.
This is a varied role including the preparation of fee proposals, concept, preliminary and detailed designs, on-site investigations and technical development.

**We offer**
A great working environment, a full-time position of 40 hours per week, a competitive remuneration package ranging from $70,000-$80,000, flexible working, paid overtime, annual bonus, on-the-job training and ongoing career development.

**About you**
- Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- A professional engineer, with good residential design experience
- You will be conversant with relevant NZ Building codes and statutory requirements, with proven seismic experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, local councils, architects and contractors; as well as lead and contribute to project delivery
- Adaptable with a keen eye for detail, excellent planning, organising and time management skills
- Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
