With huge demand for our product, we are on the hunt for a **Pre-Sales Engineer** to join our thriving Auckland based Sales team.

Joining our global sales department, your work supports the inside sales and corporate accounts teams providing deal critical assistance and advice to help us progress sales and unlock more opportunities. You're an enabler, assisting the sales team on more complex deals with larger corporate or enterprise clients, communicating directly with customers to help scope and identify the right products/services to meet their needs. This means helping collate information to support RFP's/RFI's and developing scalable, cost-effective processes and solutions to support future sales processes. It doesn't end there, you're also heavily involved post sale, supporting the customer relationship and completing critical handover tasks to ensure the customers journey through to our implementation team is a successful one. You will need get very familiar with our portfolio of products and services, leveraging strong interpersonal skills like relationship building, communication, and listening to deliver successful outcomes.

**What might you be doing on the daily?**
- Engage with customers and prospects, collaborating with our sales team during the pre-sales process to understand their technical requirements.
- Support the Business Development team in customer service, project handover, and other administrative duties.
- Serve as a technical expert on company products and solutions, providing guidance and support to customers and prospects.
- Help to complete all bids and tenders that are submitted.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Preparing proposals for new projects and negotiating prices with clients or other parties involved in the project.
- Work closely with sales managers to develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and other technical content.
- Creating detailed plans to support the customer experience in conjunction with Business Development Executives
- Maintain CRM with accurate information around activities being completed.

- A problem solver - good at thinking on your feet and savvy with interpreting/communicating technical complexities
- Customer oriented, a good listener and can build rapport quickly
- Experience of supporting or contributing to complex and collaborative customer proposals
- A self-starter, extremely organised and able to juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Able to work 6am - 3pm (this is to service the North American and Asia Pac markets)
- Sales and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) experience is an advantage but not a deal breaker if you can display relatable expertise
