**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

Auckland Council is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our team, focusing on stormwater compliance. In this critical role, you'll provide high-quality service through investigations, breach resolution, remediation activities, and enforcement actions in relation to the Resource Management Act, Building Act, and relevant bylaws. Your work will contribute to positive environmental outcomes for Auckland and support the council's compliance needs across the region.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
As a Senior Compliance Officer, you bring significant experience in regulatory compliance, especially in investigations and enforcement within government or regulatory settings. With a solid understanding of the RMA, Building Act, and Council Bylaws, you're well-equipped to manage complex compliance cases. You’re an effective communicator, a strong team player, and dedicated to continuous learning. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance are essential. Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office is also required.
