We are looking for an exceptional engineer to work on several large design and install projects we have been awarded. Being a smaller company there is a lot of diversity in the role with the production assembly located on site and directly liaising with clients and suppliers. This role has a focus on process and materials handling design and commissioning and with your mechanical mindset and industry experience you’ll hit the ground running.

Specific skills that put you at the top of the list:

- 3+ years’ experience designing equipment or machinery
- Minimum qualification BE degree in Mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with NZ design codes and regulations
- Strong CAD skills (Solidworks preferred) and ability to create functional models and assembly drawings
- Confident user of workshop tools and machinery, can assist with manufacturing and assembly when needed
- Good communicator both verbal and written
- Solid understanding of modern production techniques, such as: sheet metal forming/bending, welding, extruding, assembly methods

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
