We have an immediate need for plumbers with commercial and residential site experience. This role suits a tradesperson who has been working in the industry for at least 12 months. A trade qualification is not required but would be favourable.

Experience in their respected field, with at least 12 months relevant work experience

Physically fit as the job requires standing and lifting

Site Safe & EWP certificates (preferred)

Working at Heights, Heights and Harness (an asset, but not required)

Experience with PVC, Copper and PPR Pipes

NZ experienced / qualified Plumbers but also open to Plumbers with overseas qualifications/experience.

Preferably hold a NZ Drivers licence or International Drivers licence with reliable transport.

**You will be responsible for**:
Experience in Plumbing, Pipefitting and Installation

Communication & Planning of work to Project deadlines

Health & Safety

**Tasks would include but no limited to**:
Set out and installation of hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment.

Installing water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems

Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures including residential sprinkler systems.

Fabrication and installation of soil and waste stacks.

Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems.

Installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices

Installing below ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems.

Assembling and installing mechanical services machinery, air handling and conditioning equipment and small-bore heating systems.

Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings

Possible installation of roof and wall cladding.

Possible installation and maintenance of domestic and commercial appliances and ancillary equipment.

Other tasks as required by the Plumbing Supervisor that will aid completion of the plumbing project to deadlines

**If you are successful**:
You will be offered permanent full-time employment with a minimum of 30 hours per week paid

You will be offered a wage rate between $26.69-$30 depending on your level of experience

You will be offered work in one of the following locations in New Zealand : Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay.

You will be offered training as appropriate to assist you to improve your skills

You will be required to follow all advised health and safety regulations.

Potential relocation to other regions and/or work across multiple regions may be required and applicants for this position should have NZ residence/citizenship or a valid open NZ work visa.
