**Plumbers Assistants Required**

ML Plumbing and Drainlaying is a well-established local trade company in Auckland. Due to the expansion of our company, we are in need of 5 plumbers assistants to commit in continuing to provide outstanding services to our customers.

**Job Title**:Plumbers Assistant

**Hourly rate**: $26 to $30

**Number of vacancies**:5

**Job location**: Auckland

**Employment type**: Permanent Full-time

**Minimum and Maximum Hours per week**: 30 60 hours

**Job description**:

- Confirm work instructions with plumber, set up equipment at the beginning of the shift, and gather them at the end of day
- Study blueprints to assess required tools, equipment, and supplies, and make arrangements to have them procured
- Acquire supplies such as pipe, fitting glue, and nails, after making sure that they are the right types and sizes
- Deliver construction materials, tools and equipment to appropriate job sites in a timely manner
- Follow instructions to saw or cut materials, erect structures, assemble, nail and glue etc
- Oversee inventory of supplies and tools, and report to the superior
- Gather all supplies and tools at the end of the day, and ensure that they are put away in a safe and accessible place

**Job pre-requisites**:

- Experience is not mandatory as training will be provided, however, it would be advantageous if you have any prior relevant experience
- Honest, punctual with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn as well as willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test are a must
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to details
- Able to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Flexible working hours
- Reliable own transport as you will be travelling between different locations
