Come and join the excellent team at Mitre 10 Crofton Downs as our business grows, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Services team.

The Service’s team works closely with our showroom to offer our customers the full renovation experience. We specialize in kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovations and installs, working in apartments through to new builds. Our team project manages the job for the customer - organizing all the various trades from start to finish, delivering a top-quality finish and work that we take pride in.

Our Services team is looking for a new member to join us, who can bring experience and knowledge with a building background; work within a small team environment with good autonomy; be respectful and has a good work ethic.

Tools are provided for the jobs; vehicle may be provided for the right person. This role could suit a builder who wants full time work, or someone in the building industry who’s looking for a more all-rounded experience.

The applicant should have:

- good communication skills
- highly organised and methodical
- be physically fit
- flexible with working hours
- self-motivated and driven, taking pride in their work
- cope under pressure when working to tight deadlines

Applicant must be able to:

- Put gib up / patch gib
- Plastering
- Have prior building knowledge / experience

Applicants will need to learn or be able to:

- Make up and install kitchen joinery
- Tile splash-backs and floors
- Paint

This role reports to the Services Manager, with a minimum of 40 hours per week or can be a job-shared position. Pay rate will be negotiated based on previous experience.
