Home Instead is a leading provider of high-quality, relationship-based in-home care for ageing adults. We help with a range of personal and lifestyle needs while providing welcome companionship for ageing adults.

**About the role**:
This is a casual role and is suitable for someone looking for 10-20 hours per week, we highly encourage people who are retired or semi-retired to apply.

We are currently hiring passionate and caring CAREGivers to join our Home Instead family

As a CAREGiver you will be part of a growing team that assists our clients with personal care, domestic household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping, and social outings.

All of these services are designed to allow an older adult to stay Home Instead for a longer period of time, wherever they may call home.

This role will allow CAREGivers to work flexible hours that enable you to work during the day, evening, or weekends while making a difference through providing compassionate home care and supporting individuals to live independently at home.

**About you**:

- Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
- Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
- Must be located and willing to travel up to 15kms within desirable areas.
- Must have a valid Full New Zealand Driver License, access to a reliable car with car insurance and current warrant of fitness

Applicants must be a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or Resident and be able to complete and pass a police check to be eligible for this role. We are not able to offer Visa sponsorships.
