 Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

The Senior Analyst - Insights and Data is responsible for delivering timely and accurate Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions that meet the requirements of the business stakeholders. This includes full development lifecycle activities including the analysis, design, build, test and rollout of Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions for Urban Development and Delivery (UDD). This role will also play a key role in strengthening UDD's data pipelines and lead specific data improvement initiatives across the wider organisation.

This role is part of the Performance, Insights and Governance team as well as the wider Commercial Management Urban Development team and will work across the organisation as we mature our data and reporting environment. As part of this function, in conjunction with Insights and Data team colleagues, the role will pay a pivotal role in enabling the delivery of the $1.4 billion programme of urban development, through provision of the data infrastructure, insights and portfolio critical information flows.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation and production support

In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts. Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
Ability to develop a deep understanding of the business, and relevant data both within and external to the organisation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of planning, budgeting and forecasting systems

Background in BI implementation and multiple system support with experience in analysing business intelligence solutions across multiple functions
Experience in working with BI hardware, software and services vendors
Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills
