Here at New World Pukekohe, we pride ourselves out outstanding customer service, we want every customer to have an enjoyable shopping experience every time they shop with us As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store. In the absence of Department Managers and other members of the management team you will be responsible to overseeing various departments. To be successful you must have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, be a detail minded self-starter, be able to multi-task and have the ability to follow through in a timely manner. **Your key responsibilities**: - Ensure the stores appearance service and productivity are maintained - Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times - Dealing with customer issues or suggestions in a timely manner - Lead and motivate a team - Train, support and guide other team members - Replenish shelves - Build displays - Experience of running a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and strong organisational skills - Ability to work collaboratively with the whole team - Be a problem solver - Excellent time management skills - Current Forklift Licence & Liquor Licence - SAP experience This role ideally suits an applicant who has previous grocery or retail supervisory experience, has excellent communication skills and can "walk the talk" when leading their team. This is a full-time role working the below days & hours. - Monday: 12.30pm til 9.15pm - Wednesday: 8am til 5pm - Thursday: 8am til 5pm - Friday: 12.30pm til 9.15pm - Saturday: 12.30pm til 9.15pm **What we offer**: - A fun working environment, with a strong focus on Customer Service - Full training - Continual support & guidance from management - Staff Discount Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
