**Mō te tūranga | About the role**
- Booking and organising of staff on all required Health & Safety courses.
- Notification of expired Personal Protective Equipment to staff.
- Drafting of minutes for distribution.
- Attendance and support at meetings, forums and workshops for our Science, Policy and Information staff (this task is shared with another business support specialist).
- Some assistance in our research library.
- Creation and receipt of purchase orders.

**Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience**
- Prefer five plus years plus of experience in business support or administrative roles
- Experience in attending meetings and forums providing support and the taking of notes for minutes, ability to organise Hybrid meetings both on site, and at offsite venues
- Ability to book staff travel and complete registration for staff who will be attending conferences
- Some experience with creation of purchase orders and receipting of invoices for payment (that are forwarded to our Finance team).
