The Further Processing Business has been operating for the last 6 years and is growing commercially every year both domestically and worldwide for a range of portioned controlled lamb & beef products.

We are ideally looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn new skills, wants to build a career and be a future leader in our operations team.

The business operates Monday to Friday from 5am to 2pm. Perfect for anyone that wants their afternoons free. All training is delivered onsite and the position is available to start immediately.

AFFCO’s Further Processing Business produces a wide-range of products, allowing for opportunities to move around various machine operating roles, giving you a variety of work, making no two days the same.

**Qualifications**:
It is preferable that you have the following:

- Have attained Level 2 NCEA or equivalent at High-School
- A positive attitude to fit in with our high energy team
- Always available and punctual
- Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instructions
- Good leadership
- Quick problem-solving skills
- Adequate reading comprehension skills and can follow manuals/instructions
- A can-do attitude to learn a few minor mechanical skills and be comfortable with using tools to assemble and dissemble the operating machine
- Great time management
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for 2-3 hour periods at a time
