On-site Supervisor

The role:

As On-Site Supervisor, you will be adding support by overseeing site works, being the first point of contact for team members and providing technical expertise to ensure work is completed safely, to a high, consistent level of quality and to achieve agreed delivery objectives.

This is a key role within our growing organisation where you will be involved in the installation, service, and construction of all utilities operations including water mains, waste water, drainage and civil works. Day to day activities include installation of pipe and fittings, pipe welding, testing and disinfection, connections, and commissioning. You must be able to interpret plans and apply appropriate procedures and select equipment.

Being physically fit with an excellent work ethic and be happy to jump on the end of a shovel as required to help the team is a must.

Skills and attributes we are looking for:

• Experience within the water industry including repair, maintenance, and installation, as well as previous experience in a Team Leader role within the water industry.
• Proven experience working with underground services and utilities.
• National Certificate in Water Reticulation level three.
• Competency in machine operation for applicable plant items.
• Full driver's license, preferably with endorsements.
• Self-motivation and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop strong relationships and build rapport easily.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
