The Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) is a Primary Health Organisation that focuses on closing the health equity gap, by ensuring whānau in our community have access to a wide range of primary care services.

We are looking to recruit a Registered Nurse who is passionate about whānau health and is looking to gain experience with the Manaaki Te Whanau outreach service, that operates within the Te Whatu Ora Whanganui rohe. This position is part time - 0.4FTE.

As a member of the clinical outreach nursing team, you will work in partnership with other outreach Kaimahi, Iwi and primary care teams, to promote, support and deliver immunisations, B4School Checks, women's health, and a range of other population health interventions as required.
- Enjoys the challenge of delivering a service to tamariki and their whānau, with a range of clinical and social needs, in diverse environments.
- Is culturally aware and competent kaimahi.
- Has the ability to work effectively within the WRHN Multi-Disciplinary Team, with general practice teams, and external health, education and social service providers.
- Is committed to ongoing professional and cultural development; and
- Is committed to delivering care in line with best-practice standards, within a continuous quality improvement framework.

As Kaimahi of our busy dynamic team, you will be required to deliver a high-quality service to whānau in a culturally appropriate manner, which will align with our organisation values and responsibilities under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
