Our Data Services Team lead Ara Poutama Aotearoa's people reporting utilising, almost exclusively, Power BI to present information from its data warehouse. The team visualises insights through innovated dashboard design and agile development.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Adviser People & Data Insights within the team, as part of our organisations response and ongoing commitment to advancing our people data and intelligence. The role is accountable for undertaking data analysis, interrogation and modelling against strategic and operational performance frameworks, leading the design and presentation of fit for purpose dashboards, and overall contributing to shaping evidence-based interventions to improve our people performance.
Bringing curiosity and creativity to this mahi, you'll also play a critical role in shaping the look, feel and content of best-in-class people governance and management reports to our senior People & Capability leaders, using business intelligence to provide insightful analytical commentary. Finally, strong stakeholder engagement skills coupled with the ability to influence without authority will be key, enabling you to confidently present insights and informed recommendations that provide a basis for continuous improvement to service delivery.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- Significant experience in undertaking and delivery complex data analysis;
- Experience and confidence in building and maintaining relationships with executives and senior leaders;
- Proficient in Power BI ;
- High level expertise in designing, producing and presenting reports and dashboards;
- Superb accuracy and attention to detail, coupled with the ability to present complex information in a way that is accessible to varying and disparate audiences; and
- Excellent communications skills - client service-oriented with an emphasis on problem-solving and creativity.
