We are looking for an HCA to work in the CT scanning room at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay

You will need to have some computer literacy skills and be able to use your initiative to assist a multidisciplinary team. You will be expected to have good communication and time management skills.

You will be working under the direction of nursing staff and medical imaging technologists (radiographers) to assist with the management of patient workflow through CT. This includes booked and acute urgent ED and ward patients. You will be expected to manage the restocking of supplies and may be called upon to assist in the wider radiology department. While this position is predominantly based in Hawkes Bay Hospital Radiology, you may be trained to cover other radiology sites, for example Napier Radiology.
