**What you will be doing**
The Scrum Master Practice Lead manages Tower's Scrum Masters, ensuring they effectively facilitate Tower's delivery ways of working and enhance Squad performance.
Reporting to the Delivery Ways of Working Lead, this role will be key to establishing and promoting best practices for Scrum and Agile methodologies across the organization, the Scrum Master Practice Lead ensures consistency and high standards are maintained.
**Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities**:
- Lead, mentor and manage the practice of Scrum Masters, including supporting professional development
- Support Squad delivery ways of working consistency, identify inefficiencies and implementing improvements
- Design and deliver training programmes to build Agile skills and capabilities within Tower, including identifying relevant certifications
- Determine optimal Scrum Master allocation by working with Product Owners and Project Managers to evaluate Squad needs
- Engage with senior leadership to provide insights into Tower's Scrum capability
- Lead the Scrum of Scrums forum to support the identification and coordination of cross Squad/Project dependencies
- Lead Sprint Reviews to identify potential areas of improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain metrics to track the effectiveness of Scrum practices and team performance, providing regular reports to senior leadership.
- Address and resolve conflicts within and between Squads, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Encourage and support innovation and experimentation within Squads, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with Scrum practices and project delivery, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Foster a sense of community and collaboration among Scrum Masters, promoting knowledge sharing and mutual support.
**What You'll Need**
- To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:
- 5+ years experience as a Scrum Master Practice Lead, Agile Coach, or similar role, ideally within the financial services industry
- Has deep knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles and practices, ideally with a relevant certification
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, develop talent and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience using delivery management and workspace tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Experience analysing data insights to inform delivery ways of working recommendations
- Has strong communication, conflict resolution, coordination and organisation skills
