Simultaneously working with universities, transport authorities and others in the research, trial and evaluation of sustainable transport networks.

Since beginning in 2000, EROAD has pioneered innovative commercial and regulatory services for motor carriers in New Zealand, Australia, and the USA. Now around 80% of the electronically collected road user charges in New Zealand are being collected using EROAD technology.
**The Role**

In this role you will be responsible for setting the direction for a predominantly hardware product lines with strong cross over with software that contributes to our overall SAAS platform. You will play a significant role in our business and help our global customers to get the most value from the data our product provides to drive their businesses and to help to ensure safer more productive roads.

You will be responsible for executing our product vision and roadmap by identifying high value customer problems and working with our agile development teams to create and deliver intuitive solutions. You will manage your product portfolio to meet both EROAD’s strategic objectives and our current and future customers’ needs.

**Requirements**:

- Graduate or post-graduate degree, Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Hardware design engineer experience essential
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with ODM/OEM partners.
- Experience with APIs and integrations in a combined hardware + SaaS (IoT) environment.
- Experience in a high growth environment and operating at scale.
- Solid technical knowledge and experience in an agile environment.
- Experience in the automotive / transport industry.
- Ability to demonstrate impact delivered.
- Familiarity with consumer hardware trends and silicon platforms in the IoT or mobile industry
