Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Specialist Eating Disorders Service (SEDS) is excited to be recruiting to a number of new positions that have been created in response to the national increase in prevalence and severity of eating disorders. This increase in funding has enabled us to expand our levels of service provision to improve both accessibility to specialist eating disorder services and treatment outcomes for our tangata whaiora.

We are looking for NZ Registered Health Practitioners (Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, MH Nurses, Psychologists) to join our passionate and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team. We currently have 1 x 0.5 FTE available in Thames.

This position will be based in Thames and integrated within the existing mental health service but unique in that you will be part of the SEDS team. This means you will spend time in Hamilton on a regular basis as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in eating disorder treatment and will be expected to share this knowledge and provide treatment across the age range, within the teams where they are based.
