They are expanding and are looking to add a skilled and motivated Data Scientist
**on a six-month contract basis**. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decision-making and strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact within a limited timeframe.

**This is also an Auckland-based role**, and will need someone who would be comfortable to pop into their Auckland office every week.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define data science requirements.
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science to continuously improve methodologies and strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
