**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)**
This role involves assisting the Radiology staff with the smooth running and day-to-day duties within the radiology department including: care and supervision of patients, transferring patients, linen restocking, general administrative tasks and equipment cleaning duties.
The main aspect of this role is ensuring Inpatients are transferred to radiology in a timely manner to ensure a smooth work flow and no downtime in Radiology. This is a busy and active role and requires the pushing of beds and wheelchairs.
You will be working 5 days on (Friday to Tuesday) then 9 days off. This is a fixed term, part-time position (0.6 FTE) for 18 months.

You will have great interpersonal skills, loads of initiative and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. You will need to be fit and healthy in order to perform the role and be patient focused. Experience of working in a health care environment is desirable but not essential.
