About the role:
As a Returns Coordinator, you will work within the Returns department to ensure damaged units are being reworked and maintain a high level of stock accuracy and warehouse inventory integrity by completing cyclic counts and discrepancy investigations along with reporting all non-conformances with warehouse operation directly affecting the integrity of inventory held along with management of commercial returns processing and damaged inventory management in line with customer requirements. The role will operate as a key member of the Fliway Logistics team and build good relationships with the key staff, including Operations Manager, Contract Manager, Team Lead, Inventory Manager Customer Services, Supervisors, Warehouse and Transport staff and other internal business areas and service groups vital to the overall day-to-day smooth running of Fliway and customer expectations. Provide support to the wider business may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out your work as outlined in the company training modules, operations manual, policies, rules, standards, and procedures. Doing it right, first time, every time.
- Work in a helpful, friendly, and polite manner, when dealing with customers and others.
- Wear the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance so you represent Fliway professionally.
- Perform all functions in a safe manner.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in all tasks.
- Operate computer and scanning hardware and software consistently in accordance with rules and procedures.
- Maintain a tidy/clean environment.
- Ensure a high level of security is adhered to. - Assist other Fliway people as directed.
- Operate all plant and equipment as per operating procedures.
Rework on damaged units:
- Re-box damaged units according to Customer’s standard
Goods Receipt / Receiving RA:
- Receipt Returned product into SCE10.
Bin Location Management / Adjustment:
- Complete inventory movements to show status of the damaged unit - Put away and perform bin moves for reworked units.
Cyclic Counting:
- Complete full daily inventory checks on all stock within the returns area. Ensure 100% stock accuracy at all times
- Take part in client stocktakes
Stock Transfers:
- Complete stock transfer/movement requests received from Clients within a timely manner.
- Manage product blocking, rework and out of scope requests received from Clients ensuring bin location accuracy and inventory integrity is always maintained. Ensure all Out of Scope communication is reported to the Operations Manager to capture revenue billing.
Damaged Inventory:
- Manage all damaged inventory within warehouse (DIW) held.
- Maintain reports of damaged inventory held and ensure physical product has paperwork supporting damage in the form of Inbound Irregular, Warehouse Damage reports.
- Report of all damages to the operations manager and completion of stock transfer to required Storers.
Variance Reconciliation:
- Investigate all identified variances including full SKU checks and transaction history review to identify root cause of variance.
- Report variances to Clients within agreed frequency and following up on required Store transfers.
Returns Processing:
- Complete inspection, receipt and physically put away all Transport, and Warehouse damaged consignments received, reporting to Client and the respective Fliway appointed persons.
- Escalate to Management of any on-going non-conformances.

What you Bring:
- NCEA Level 3
- Relevant tertiary qualification (desired) Experience - 1-2 years warehouse experience
- Operational experience (either in manufacturing, transport, or logistics)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced computer skills
- Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skill
