MyFundAction is an internationally recognised Not-For-Profit organisation who aim to better the lives of those less fortunate both locally and globally. They help provide food aid, education, and medical relief by empowering and equipping young leaders to make change.

Take charge in this Events Coordinator role and be a part of the change you want to see in the world Help make a positive impact by engaging with the community in MyFundAction’s Youth Development Centre in Frankton, Queenstown. In this role you will act as an ambassador and educate the youth and wider community on the organisation’s values, goals and overall purpose.

Duties include:

- Planning and organising activities at the MyFundAction centre
- Organising equipment for events
- Engaging with the community and youth as an ambassador
- Managing funding and budgets for events
- Recruiting volunteers
- Liaising with volunteers across New Zealand
- Collaborating with partnering organisations
- Requires occasional travelling to Christchurch and Dunedin - reimbursement provided

You will need to have:

- 1+ year experience in a similar project/event coordinator or community development position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven relationship-building skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Bachelor’s degree qualification preferred
