Records Technician

Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday
- Location: Greenlane Clinical Centre which is next to Cornwall Park at the base of Maungakiekie/One Tree Hill
- Be a part of friendly and collaborative Corporate Information, Records and Data Service Team.
- Establish/promote recordkeeping best practice throughout Te Toka Tumai Auckland
- Promote the Corporate Information, Records and Data Team via all available internal media tools.
- Take a lead within the team for the delivery of organisational training

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We are looking for someone with records management and training experience to work alongside the Senior Records Technician to design, create quality and purposeful training materials and learning resources to be implemented via the intranet and other online learning platforms to improve Te Toka Tumai Auckland's recordkeeping capability. It would be ideal if you have both records management and training experience, but if you don't, don't worry; we can teach you the essential recordkeeping skills, and there will be plenty of resources to assist you.

You like the challenge of establishing and maintaining good working relationships with different customer groups in the organisation.

You have the skills and a strong commitment to engage with staff across the organisation to assist them with their recordkeeping capabilities, educate them with effective training materials in various channels including our intranet and virtual session.

You have passion and able to develop/enrich records management education material in our intranet from various resources and tailor them to suit our staff, contractors and students within the organisation.

Suitable applicants with:

- Experience in planning, developing and managing intranet content and digital media for staff education and improve the department’s online presence
- High standard of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Excel, Outlook and Windows Explorer
- Knowledge and experience in databases and digital content management
- An interest to gain knowledge of New Zealand Public Records Act 2005 and Information and Records Management Standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a cooperative style
- Ability to work well in busy and complex environments and can prioritise workloads efficiently to meet audit and business deadlines
- Good customer service skills
- A ‘can-do’ attitude
