Are you a Paediatric Registrar looking for the opportunity to spend some time in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Starship Hospital? Come to Auckland
We are also keen to consider Anaesthesia, ICM, or Emergency Medicine trainees needing a PICU run.
**Working in Auckland**
Auckland’s “big little city” feel means you can enjoy the combination of all a city has to offer with a community feel. Experience the sparkling beaches and islands of the North Shore and then skip out West for breathtaking scenery, vineyards, bush and surf. Top it off by visiting the markets of South Auckland before heading into Central Auckland for good food, coffee, local wine and beer and an array of cultural events.
**Position Description**
Our PICU positions offer the opportunity to learn about retrieval medicine, acutely ill children, procedural skills and a broad range of conditions, with a high level of Consultant supervision and support. Regular teaching sessions are available on Wednesday afternoon and Consultants make every effort to supply teaching on the ward.
