**Location**:Radius Althorp, 9 Grantston Drive, Pyes Pa, Tauranga 3112

**Hours of work**:Casual, as and when required.

Must have Level 4 Health & Wellbeing or equivalent qualification, experience in dementia care preferred.
- Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for casual HCAs_

**Pay rate**:Subject to completed recognized caregiving qualifications

**About the role**:
Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

**Duties include**:

- Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
- Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
- Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
- Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
- Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

**Skills and Experience**:

- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and experience are desirable
- People skills + empathy for our residents and their families
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts
