**Job Description**:
We’re a team of tax advisors who work alongside our clients and build long lasting relations that create value. As a Graduate/Associate you will specialise in providing global companies with tax advice and assistance with managing their cross border and remote working employees. Here you will:

Your day to day responsibilities will be varied, and may include:
- Advising global organisations on their employer tax obligations in respect of cross border employees
- Proactively managing client engagements under the guidance and support of experienced senior staff members within our specialist team
- Undertake tax consultations with employees to discuss the NZ tax implications of their assignment or remote working arrangement
- Completion of individual tax returns, provisional tax calculations, shadow payrolls and FBT returns
- Providing advice on employer share plan reporting obligations
- Liaising with Inland Revenue as required
- Working with leading digital tools to drive new efficiencies in our processes
- Working with overseas offices within the Vialto Partners network to deliver services in respect to New Zealand tax obligations
**Qualifications**:
We’re looking for an agile, responsive individual who seeks technical and operational excellence.
The following attributes are important to the team:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance (or similar)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional client service
- Excellent job and time management skills and the ability to manage workloads and work to deadlines
- Strong Excel skills and tax return software experience
- Experience or an interest in Global Mobility, Individual and Employer Tax obligations
