Psychology Intern

**About the Team/Service/ Location**

Our CAFS team works alongside tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau to deliver holistic mental health and wellbeing support. Based in Hastings and serving Napier ,Wairoa and Central Hawkes Bay communities, we are passionate about equity, whānau-centred care, and strengthening outcomes for Māori.

**About you**

As an Intern Psychologist, you will:

- Be enrolled in a New Zealand Psychologist Board-accredited postgraduate diploma, Masters or Doctoral programme in Clinical Psychology
- Hold registration as an Intern Psychologist under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 with a current practising certificate
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and diverse communities
- Be self-motivated in developing clinical and professional practice, with a focus on delivering high-quality care
- Hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence

Experience in child and adolescent mental health, knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and cultural competence are desirable.
