**About our team/Mō te tīma**
We are a busy team of clinical researchers, with doctors, nurses, dietitians, and co-ordinators. We work mainly on new diabetes technologies. We have national and international collaboration and provide research and clinical mentorship, in a supportive environment.
**The role/Te mahi**
We are looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to join the team contributing to the ilet Bionic Pancreas System Alternate Insulin Algorithms Study.
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a key role in the recruitment, enrolment, consenting and participation of study participants. You will also contribute to data collection and analysis and publication of findings.
You will work closely with investigators, health professionals and study participants to ensure the smooth operation of clinical studies while maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.
**Your skills and experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako**
- Are registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and who hold a current practicing certificate.
- Are comfortable working with new technologies.
- Have experience with research methods and ethical practices.
- Display strong attention to detail and confidentiality awareness.
- Work well within a team but can also work independently.
- Have effective time management and flexibility to work outside regular hours of work, as required.
- Understanding of research diabetes, either lived experience and/or clinical experience.
The research team will ensure a thorough induction process for new graduates as required, including clinical observation with the Te Whatu Ora diabetes team to gain necessary experience with Type 1 diabetes.

This is a fixed term (12 month), full time (37.5 hours per week) position, based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch.
The appointment salary range for this position is $81,301 to $85,315 per annum.
