**About the Role**

The Nurse Coordinator, Professional Development is responsible for leading and facilitating all aspects of the PDRP programme, providing education and guidance to nurses and advancing engagement with the PDRP across the District. This is a great time of change for the national PDRP framework and this role will be key to promoting and rolling out the changes. The role works closely with the Nurse Coordinator Professional Development based at Hutt Valley.

**About the Team/Service Location**

The Workforce and Practice Development Unit (W&PDU) supports the District Chief Nurse and Nurse Directors across the District. This support enables the alignment of the W&PDU - s professional, operational and strategic leadership accountabilities, within allocated resources to reflect national, regional and District priorities. This is a highly motivated and supportive team that leads a culture of education and professional development to enhance the workforce capability to provide high quality and safe services.
