As a senior developer, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior team members and share your expertise in software engineering and cloud-based solutions. We strongly believe in continuous improvement for our platforms and operational support, and you'll have the opportunity to lead the charge in driving these efforts forward. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**: - Collaborate with other teams to integrate new features and improve workflows - Mentor other team members in coding best practices and development workflows - Capture project requirements and refine them into Jira tickets with stakeholders and team members - Track infrastructure changes in code using AWS CloudFormation and some Terraform - Collaborate closely with team members through peer programming, screen sharing, and code reviews - Test and monitor changes during evaluation and rollout - Deploy changes with the click of a button in our integrated continuous deliver service - Monitor and support live changes for customers - Work closely with peers and technology partners in a collaborative environment - Implement product enhancements and validate ideas with new technologies - Contribute to architectural and design decisions within your team - Own customer outcomes and support long-term solutions - Handle system migrations confidently - Use appropriate technologies for different systems with a "best tool for the job" mindset. **This role could be a good fit for you if you have**: - Commercial development experience in at least one of Python, Java or C# - Exposure to designing and/or consuming APIs (REST) - An interest in and knowledge of modern cloud architecture practices - Test driven development, automation, and infrastructure as code - Experience building solutions for cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) - Strong security knowledge - Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases - Exposure to CI / CD environments and pushing to prod. - An interest in growing technical capabilities and teaching others ***Why you will enjoy working with us..** You will be joining a highly skilled, highly productive team of technical experts who are passionate about what we do.
