**About the role**

**What you will be doing**

You will develop and drive transformational technology programs for FIS’s Asset Finance Product Suite. This key leadership role is focused on building and maintaining software IP.

You will be responsible for providing the strategic technology vision whilst delivering innovative products. You will lead a large global development team (400 FTEs) encompassing onshore, captive offshore and contracting talent; consisting for business experts, architects, developers, and quality assurance. You will be expected to contribute to the broader business across both Technology and Lending.

You will support our global direct sales force and client facing organizations by being the Technology face for Technology Leaders at our major customers. You will partner with Product Management to ensure complete interlock on Product Roadmap and ownership of prioritization. You will work with our Professional Services organization to ensure we build software that can be efficiently implemented in a standardized manner.
- Leading the **architecture initiatives** for and defining the **migration path from current to future** state.
- ** Owning technology roadmaps** to that include as many **short-term problem resolutions** as possible, and is suitable for planning, prioritization, and investment decisioning.
- ** Solving identified architectural risks** and conducting **‘in-flight’ correction** where existing architectures are failing.
- ** Leading and developing technical professionals** to ensure career growth and achievement of organizational goals including interim and annual performance reviews.
- ** Choosing the right leadership**, removing lower impact individuals, and ensuring talent is optimally placed.
- Identifying and **solving for talent gaps**.
- ** Managing supervisors/individual contributors** with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews. Doing this in accordance with the target operating model and co-operate tiering structures.
- ** Driving offshore and near-shore development **in our global delivery centers in North Africa, Eastern Europe, and India. Ensuring these team are optimally structured, have appropriate talent, are well led, and deliver quality output.
- Representing the organizational technical credentials to **clients and prospects**.
- ** Exploiting synergies** across the architectural assets developed and available **across the entire enterprise**.
- Championing the introduction of **new architecture** assets that have an impact across the entire enterprise maximizing reusability, flexibility, and maintainability.
- Acting as an executive owner on selected **client accounts**:

- ** Communicating strategic and technological plans.**:

- Strategic **solution design with cross-functional teams** focusing on integration, best practices and enterprise re-use.
- Directing and enforcing the **standards** for enterprise and system architecture.
