**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is a permanent, full-time 1 FTE (**40 hours per week**) role

The salary range for this role is between $157,822 - $181,129, based on skills and experience.

Our cosmopolitan staff include specialists engaged with research and creative projects in New Zealand and around the world. We attract around 1500 Equivalent Full-Time students each year, including around 90 PhD students. We welcome opportunities for collaborations in research, teaching and learning.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

To be considered for this position, you will have the following:

- A PhD in Criminology or a cognate discipline
- A track record of successful and innovative teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- A track record of publications, external grant funding, and undertaking of interdisciplinary research.
- Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with local communities and/or government organizations.
