Are you an experienced Receptionist/ Administrator looking for a permanent, full-time opportunity with a lovely team? As the first point of contact, you will understand the importance of creating a warm and helpful experience to all our clients and staff. You will be the heart of the office, engaging with everyone who walks through our doors, assisting our team with a variety of administrative tasks, and ensuring that day to day functions run smoothly. Our current Receptionist is moving into a technical role, and we are looking for a friendly, positive, and hardworking superstar to take the reins **The key responsibilities of the role include**: - Creating a welcoming office environment, ensuring visitors are greeting quickly and enthusiastically. - Managing incoming calls, ensuring inquiries are directed quickly and efficiently. - Providing administration support to the team including word-processing, data entry, formatting, and filing documents. - Making sure that the office, reception, kitchens, and bathrooms are in order, keeping them tidy and well stocked. - Arranging couriers, handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. - Assisting with event management. - Providing other ad hoc support for staff as required. - Following all health and safety policies and security practices to ensure a safe office environment. Ideally, you will possess a friendly "can do" personality, excellent phone manner a desire to help our high performing team run smoothly. **To be successful in this role you will need**: - 1+ years administration and/or receptionist experience would be ideal. - A full, clean driver's license as you may be running daily errands. - Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. - A good level of physical fitness and ability to lift testing equipment and other items weighing 15kg+ on a regular basis. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a confident phone manner. - Professional presentation to greet visitors and staff at reception. - A positive and hard-working attitude, a sharp eye and initiative to notice what needs doing and action it asap - Strong organizational skills. You can prioritize work, meet deadlines and work accurately under conflicting time pressures. - Ability to work independently but confident in asking for help when required. - Able to excel in our customer experience principles (customer-focus, advisory, reliability and efficiency). - An understanding of accounts receivable / payable would be beneficial.
