**Role Overview**:
At Ask Metro Fire, we prioritize delivering top-notch workmanship in all our Fire Alarm installation projects. As a Senior Fire Alarm Technician, you will play a crucial role in upholding our standards of excellence and ensuring the seamless execution of installations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execute Fire Alarm installations with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance measures to guarantee system functionality and compliance with regulations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
**Requirements**:
- Proven minimum 5 years’ experience in Fire Alarm installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of NZS 4512 and AS/NZS 3000
- Experience and knowledge of electrical and electronic
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- A full NZ driver’s licence is essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated
- Reliable and punctual
- Well-presented
- Highly organised
- Able to work unsupervised
