We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with excellent relationship and people skills to join our high performing Personal Lines Portfolio Team based in Auckland, Christchurch, or Palmerston North as a Personal Lines Underwriter to support our broker channel.
**Helping our business grow and succeed in a challenging and changing environment, you’ll be responsible for**:
- Being the key point of contact for all underwriting referrals via our Broker portal.
- Managing new business and ensuring the renewal of business is being retained by providing a first-class service and technical advice to our broker partners.
- Being instrumental in process improvement.
- Monitoring and analysing trends across renewals and claims.
**You show the following qualities**:
- Have 2-3 years technical and market-facing expertise within personal lines insurance products;
- Possess exceptional communication skills across all mediums;
- Be logical in thought process, inquisitive and have a strong understanding of the New Zealand market and emerging trends.
