This centre is based in the heart of Karaka, a beautiful environment with lovely local shops at the doorstep. We have strong relationships with our wonderful families and a well-established, caring team with diverse cultures. Our centre is licensed for 110 children catering to children aged 6 months - 5 years old.
We are looking for a passionate Centre Manager to lead the BestStart Karaka team to be the best they can be with a strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, ECE regulations, and curriculum. You will be able to coach and mentor a diverse team and children are at the heart of everything you do
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) permanent role working Monday - Friday.
**Role requirements**:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- Be excellent in all forms of communication
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
