A minimum of 1 year experience in the construction sector or a relevant trades certificate. - Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site. - Strong commitment to safe work practices. - Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated. - Able to deal with unexpected events and make decisions. - Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team. - Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold season. **Responsibilities**: - Follow the instruction from the builder and/or the site supervisor. - Assist and work alongside builders, carpenters, plasterers and painters. - Remove old paints and wallpaper, fix woodwork and smooth the surface. - Load and unload building and construction materials, tools and equipment. - Mix, pour and spread construction materials such as concrete and plaster. - Maintain an effective and tidy working area. - Work with and/or remove hazardous material. - Performs routine tasks in erecting and repairing structures and facilities on building and construction sites. **In return Hengyu Construction** **Ltd**will offer**: A stable position in Wellington Region.
