As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our key clients across New Zealand, we are looking for a Business Management Systems Manager, to be the key representative within Mott MacDonald New Zealand across our various quality management systems. This role will see you work closely with our wide range of internal stakeholders, as well as being a key point of contact for external auditors, to ensure continuous improvement and maintain our accreditation to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 37001. Your experience in quality assurance and systems management within a range of industries will see you well place to develop and improve upon our current BMS and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide BMS advice and training to the general management and staff
- Communicate changes to the BMS, along with advice on their implications to working practices
- Review the BMS dashboard for accuracy each month
- Establish and maintain records - monthly report, annual report, documenting of continual improvement plans
- Work with the General Manager so that the required reviews of the BMS are carried out and recorded
- Report to the General Manager on BMS performance, including analysis of trends and issues arising from audits
- Co-ordinate internal and external divisional and office audit meetings
- Attend opening and closing meetings for all audits and to co-ordinate responses to corrective action requests and certification body audit findings, including providing evidence demonstrating the corrective action taken
- Establish and maintain records of all audits, including any corrective action requests and certification body audit findings (and ensuring these are closed-out with notification from the auditor)
- Confirm annual focus areas and prepare annual KPIs
- Undertake small and minor project audits
- Co-ordinate BMS Champions within each Sector and chair monthly BMS Champions meeting

What you will bring to the team:

- Experience in interpreting engineering project related documents and monitoring compliance documentation
- Experience in monitoring, reviewing, reporting and continuous improvement, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent report writing skills
- Must have industry recognised qualifications
- Ability to coach senior project leads and drive behavioural change programs
- Ability to take ownership and follow up on issues and problem solve
- Great all-round administration skills including advanced skills in Word and Excel

You will have a proven track record in implementing sustainable change programs that drive a focus on quality and systems through staff behaviours. You will be a great all-round communicator who can grow and nurture relationships with management and staff.
